Lesson 37 | VERBないでください

文型：　VERB《ない形》　でください　「Please don't do the VERB.」

Note:

• This sentence pattern is used when asking or instructing someone NOT to do something. It's the opposite of VERB《て形》ください.

例：

危ないですか、押さないでください。　「Please don't push because it's dangerous.」

汚水（おすい／filthy water）ですから、ここで泳がないでください。　「Please don't swim here because the water is filthy.」

休みですから、明日来ないでください。　「Please don't come tomorrow because I'll be out.」

ここに入らないでください。　「Please don't enter.」

映画館の中ですから、携帯電話を使わないでください。　「Please don't use your mobile phone because you're inside the movie theater.」
