Lesson 26 | STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

文型：　PLACE　へ　VERB《ます形》／NOUN　に　行きます／来ます／帰ります。　「I'm going/coming/returning to PLACE to VERB/NOUN.」

Note:

• You turn a VERB into a purpose by dropping the ～ます and retaining the verb stem.

例：
私は日本へ旅行に行きたいです。　「I want to go to Japan for a vacation.」
私は公園へ散歩に行きます。　「I'm going to the park to take a walk.」
私はレストランへ食べに行きます。　「I'm going to the restaurant to eat.」
私は喫茶店へお茶を飲みに行きます。　「I'm going to the coffee shop to drink tea.」
あなたは上海へ何をしに行きますか。　「What are you going to Shanghai for?」
