文型：　A　は　B　です。　「A is B.」

Notes:

• は is read as わ.
• は is a particle. The word before it is the topic of the sentence.

例：
私はエムーです。　「I am Em.」
リーさんは医者です。　「Mr. Lee is a doctor.」
井上真央はとても可愛い（かわいい）です。　「Inoue Mao is very cute.」
ここは私の部屋です。　「This is my room.」
あの人はキムさんです。　「That person is Mr. Kim.」
