文型一：　VERB／ADJECTIVE／NOUN《普通形》　と　思います。　「I think...」

Note:

• This sentence pattern is used to express one's conjecture or opinion.

例：
最近世界に災い（わざわい／calamity, catastrophe）がたくさん起こっている（おこっている／to occur, to happen）と思います。　「I think a lot of calamities are happening in the world recently.」
ジェイ・チョウはいいコンポーザー（composer）だと思います。　「I think Jay Chou is a good composer.」
ブランド品（ブランドひん／brand items）は高いと思います。　「I think brand goods are expensive.」
韓国の映画は日本の映画より面白いと思います。　「I think Korean dramas are more interesting than Japanese movies.」
山川さんはスポーツが下手だと思います。　「I think Mr. Yamakawa is bad at playing sports.」

文型二：　～についてどう思いますか。　「What's do you think of ~?」
○　～と思います。　「I think it's...」

例：
新しい空港についてどう思いますか。　「What do you think of the new airport?」
○　きれいですが、市からちょっと遠いと思います。　「I think it's beautiful but a bit far from the city.」

ジェイ・チョウのコンサートについてどう思いますか。　「What do you think of Jay Chou's concert?」
○　とても楽しいと思います。　「I think it's very enjoyable.」

日本の料理についてどう思いますか。　「What do you think of Japanese food?」
○　おいしいですが、とても高いと思います。　「I think it's delicious but very expensive.」

先生についてどう思いますか。　「What do you think of your teacher?」
○　とても優しくて、頭がいいと思います。　「I think he/she is very kind and smart.」

運動についてどう思いますか。　「What do you think about exercise?」
○　体にいいと思います。　「I think it's good for the body.」

文型三：　VERB／ADJECTIVE／NOUN《普通形》　と　思いますか。　「Do you think...」
○　はい、～と思います／そう思いま。　「Yes, I think ~／I think so.」
×　いいえ、～と思いません／そうは思いません。　「No, I don't think ~／I don't think so.」

例：
お祖母さんは親切だと思いますか。　「Do you think your grandmother is kind?」
○　はい、親切だと思います。　「Yes, I think she is kind.」
×　いいえ、親切だと思いません。　「No, I don't think she is kind.」

ショウ・ルオが台湾にいると思いますか。　「Do you think Show Luo is in Taiwan?」
○　はい、台湾にいると思います。　「Yes, I think he's in Taiwan.」
×　いいえ、台湾にいると思いません。　「No, I don't think he's in Taiwan.」

あのレストランのサービスはいいと思いますか。　「Do you think that restaurant's service is good?」
○　はい、いいと思います。　「Yes, I think it's good.」
×　いいえ、いいと思いません。　「No, I don't think it's good.」
